Blue Funk Xaan

A fellow October Toys forum member kindly sent me a blank of his latest resin figure Xaan to work on. It's a really cool alien character and arrived requiring very little preparation. I finally finished it up last night....

Oberth Edition Cards

Just finished up these edition cards for various Oberth figures.....

.....the first three are for the Oberth Drones: RGB, CMYK and Hatch. The second two are Oberth Colonists from a couple of giveaways.....one ended and one not yet taken place.

Oberth Drone - Hatch

This version started out as a bit of an experiment but now I've decided to produce these along the same lines as RGB and CMYK. Each figure will be hand made and so will be unique and differ slightly from each other. As with RGB and CMYK these stand around 5.5" tall.

Hatch is responsible for the more hazardous elements the Colonists encounter - securing, analyzing and destroying if necessary......

RGB and CMYK Oberth Drones for sale

Both of these figures are now for sale....

My main concern with these figures is to give collectors an opportunity to have a singular piece at an affordable level. So firstly I want to produce a run of RGB and CMYK characters with a maximum edition of 25 each. These are being produced by hand, and as such each figure will be unique.....they stand approximately 5.5" tall and will come signed and numbered on the base of the feet. One randomly selected figure in each edition (RGB and CMYK) will be accompanied by a one of a kind Oberth Colonist. The cost per figure is £55 not including shipping.....An example of one of the randomly selected  Oberth Colonists:

Just like the RGB Oberths the CMYK variant goes about it's day in much the same way...but with a more graphic flair to it =)

TRX Ent - Update - Base

I'm kinda avoiding posting too much more of the actual sculpt so here are the assembled materials for the main base.....minus a few 'magic' ingredients (minus and magic simply because I forgot to put them in shot).....

.....this base is pretty much finished, I'm just waiting for bits of it to dry before I stabilise it all in position.

Forest Torlay - reshape update

Finished adding the foliage/fur/hair.....I prefer the multi tones to just a single colour but I need to play around with some of the details a bit more and maybe adding a little something....and taking away too.....

It's coming.....

.....in a very limited way but it is finally coming. There will be a total of three editions: an original red, a classic black and white and a DIY version.




....This figure stands a total of 7.5" tall, it has three points of articulation (arms and head). Each edition will be limited to 5 giving a total of 15 figures. The promo image at the top of this post will be sent out with each figure as a postcard sized print. There will also be some exclusive customs made - artists to be revealed at a later date.
